PURPOSE:To obtain a device having a high decorative effect by winding induction coils around multiple cylindrical sections and controlling the excitation and luminescence of discharge gas via high-frequency oscillating circuits connected to the induction coils. CONSTITUTION:High-frequency oscillating circuits are connected respectively to induction coils 23a, 23b wound respectively around cylindrical sections 22a, 22b of two translucent airtight containers 20a, 20b, with nearly spherical luminous sections 21a, 21b combined nearly concentrically. The high-frequency current is fed to one induction coil 23a via the high-frequency oscillating circuit, thereby the discharge gas in the airtight space 24a corresponding to it is excited and illuminated, and likewise the discharge gas in the corresponding airtight space 24b is excited and illuminated by the other induction coil 23b. Therefore, when the high-frequency currents fed to the induction coils 23a, 23b are individually controlled, two luminous sections 21a, 21b formed into a dual structure are individually turned on or off or dimmed, thus a decorative effect abundant in changes is obtained. |
