PURPOSE:To improve environmental resistance, more particularly UV resistance, oxidation resistance and durable properties as well as sensitivities by incorporating a specific compd. into an electrophotographic sensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The compd. expressed by the formula is incorporated into the electrophotographic sensitive body having layers contg. an electric charge generating material (CGM) and charge transfer material (CTM) on a conductive base. In the formula, X denotes a carbonyl or methylene group, Y denotes an oxygen atom, imino or substd. imino group, B denotes a single bond or double bonds. R is a hydrogen atom, and hydroxy, alkoxy, amino, substd. amino, alkyl, and substd. carbonyl groups, m=0-3 integer. The photosensitive layer may be of the single layer constitution formed by intimate mixing of CTM and CGM or the composite constitution consisting of the layer contg. CTM as a lower layer and the layer contg. CGM as an upper layer or the constitution reverse therefrom. A protective layer may be provided thereto at need. The content of said compd. is 0.1-100wt.%, more particularly preferably 5-25wt.% by the eight of CTM. |
