PURPOSE:To facilitate switching of drive condition without influence of differential rotation, by driving an oil pump for feeding pressure oil to an oil chamber of a hydraulic clutch by means of a variable speed motor and controlling the motor corresponding to drive condition. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic clutch 13 is provided between front and rear drive shafts 12, 14, and said clutch 13 has an oil chamber 8 for pushing a piston 7. Delivery pressure oil from an oil pump 19 driven through a variable speed motor 21 is discharged through a throttle 20, and pressure oil is led into the oil chamber corresponding to the delivery of the pump 19. Here, the speed of the variable speed motor 21 is controlled corresponding to vehicle speed, steering angle and pavement friction coefficient signal. Consequently, switching control between 2-wheel and A-wheel drive can be made corresponding to drive condition without influence of differential rotation between front and rear wheels.
