PURPOSE:To efficiently perform separation of components of not less than three by performing a cycle consisting of a feeding process, a desorbing process and a circulating process in a semicontinuous chromatograph separation wherein a batch type chromatograph separating operation is repeatedly performed. CONSTITUTION:While feeding a raw material to the front ends of packed beds 1, 2 from a fluid tank 3 for the raw material, a fraction in which arbitrary one component is enriched is drawn out from the rear ends of the packed beds 1, 2 (called a feeding process). Then a desorbing agent is fed to the front ends of the packed beds 1, 2 from a tank 4 for the desorbing agent and the fraction in which the other component is enriched is drawn out from the rear ends of the packed beds 1, 2 (called a desorbing process). Then the fluid in the beds is circulated without performing both feed of fluid to the packed beds and drawing-out of fluid from the packed beds and a zone in which a plurality of components are mixed is transferred to the front ends of the packed beds (called a circulating process). The separation of components not less than three which was difficult in a conventional chromatograph separation is efficiently performed by repeating these three processes as one cycle. |
