发明名称 OPTICAL INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM
摘要 PURPOSE:To fix a stable phase and contrive higher reliability, by providing a sublimable substance being solid under normal temperature and pressure as a thin film form polymer on a substrate of an optical memory functional medium by plasma polymerization. CONSTITUTION:A glass substrate 1 is disposed in a vacuum vessel, and a metallic aluminum film 2 is vapor deposited thereon. About 10g of a diphenyl powder of about 99.5% purity is placed in a platinum boat, is evaporated by passing an electric current of 15A, and is polymerized by a high-frequency plasma of about 13.56 MHz in a stream of an Ar gas to provide a plasma-polymerized film 3, namely, an optical recording medium 3 of about 400 Angstrom thickness on the surface of the aluminum film 2. Then, a polymethacrylate film layer 4 is provided on the film 3 by spin coating to produce an optical disk. When a signal is written into the optical disk by a beam of a semiconductor laser 5, a spot part 6 of about 1 mum diameter is formed, which can be read with a power of about 2 mW. Thus, the optical recording medium can be fixed as a stable phase, and long-time preservability and reliability are enhanced.
