CONTROLLER FOR RESIDUAL QUANTITY OF BEVERAGE

PURPOSE:To automatically control a residual quantity and the registered number of a container by providing the residual quantity detecting means of a beverage, the registered number setting means of the container, a cap for a beverage container provided with the display means of the residual quantity and the registered number and a display reading means. CONSTITUTION:The cap 3 is attached to a bottle 1 in which the beverage 2 such as whisky is contained. In the cap 3, the ray of an infrared LED4 is projected on the beverage 2 through a lens 5 and a reflected light is received by a PSD8 through the lens 7. A light receiving output is changed according to the distance between the cap 3 and a level 6 and fetched to a microcomputer 10 through a detection circuit 9. The registered number of the bottle is inputted to the computer 10 by a dip switch 11. The inputted residual quantity and the registered number are converted to bar code data and displayed on a liquid crystal display device 13. A bar code reader 15 reads it, feeds to a computer 16 to automatically control the residual quantity of the beverage and the registered number of the container.
