发明名称 METHOD FOR FORMING HYDROPHILIC MEMBRANE
摘要 PURPOSE:To surely and easily form a hydrophilic membrane on a substrate, by developing a volatile solvent solution of an amphipatic molecule, to which an electric field is applied, on the surface of a liquid to form a monomolecular layer thereon and subsequently compressing said layer to form a monomolecular condensate film. CONSTITUTION:An org. solvent having a substance having a hydrophilic group and a hydrophobic group dissolved therein is dripped on the surface of the water 1 received in a water tank 1 made of polypropylene to develop a molecule which is, in turn, compressed by a float 2 made of polypropylene to form a monomolecular condensate film 4. By repeating operation for drawing up a glass substrate 3 while keeping the surface of the water constant, a built-up film wherein the hydrophobic group 9 is adhered to the substrate 3 and the hydrophilic group 8 is exposed to the surface of the film is formed. As the amphipatic molecule to be used, for example, 13-21C straight chain type fatty acid such as tridecanoic acid, myristic acid or pentadecanoic acid or a salt such as Li, Na, K or Mg thereof is used.
