PURPOSE:To detect the weight of an object to be weighed in a short time by integrating and storing the absolute value of the moving speed of an elastic body for every displacement point, multiplying the value of the displacement point having the maximum value in resultant data by an elastic modulus and displaying a weighed value. CONSTITUTION:Detected values (displacement) Xs(t) in vibrating condition which are detected by a load cell 11 in a detector 10 are converted by an A/D converter 22 and transmitted to an arithmetic unit 30. A moving speed (absolute value) obtained by a difference unit 31 at every time is integrated and stored in an integrator and memory 32 at every displacement point. A displacement point Xp showing an extreme value (maximum value) among values (integrated values) stored in the addresses of resultant data is determined by an extreme value judging device 33. The weight of an object to be weighed is detected from the DC component of the displacement point Xp.
