The 2-(p-Isobutyl) phenyl propionate of (l - hydroxymethyl l - methyl) ethyl anemorium, for treatment of rheumatism, arthritis, neuralgia, arthrosis, sciatica, bronchitis, etc. due to its good anti-inflammatory properties and gastric tolerance, is made reaction of 2 - (p - isobutyl) phenyl propionic acid of formula (II) with butanolamine in a polar solvent.
