Aminoacrylic and derivatives of the formula in which R is alkyl, R1 is alkoxycarbonyl, and R2 is alkyl, cycloalkyl, amino, alkylamino or dialkylamino, and intermediates therefor. The compounds can be converted into antibacterially active known oxyquinolinecarboxylic acid derivatives.
