PURPOSE:To remove directivity and uniform a detecting area in an equipment housing a plurality of elements for detecting heat rays by providing only one element with a detecting window for irradiating the heat rays. CONSTITUTION:A detecting element 21 formed in circular configuration and the other element 22 are arranged in the center and on the side of a device body 3, respectively. A detecting window 4 formed in the upper surface of the device body 3 is made small so that heat rays are irradiated only on the element 21. Since, the heat rays incident on the detecting window 4 are irradiated only on the element 21 in this heat ray detecting element 1, the element 22 does not conduct heat ray detecting operation under normal heat ray detecting condition. Accordingly, the heat ray detecting operation is performed by using only a voltage generated in the element 21.
