PURPOSE:To facilitate an assembly work of a parallel connector and a case by allowing a spring material to stride and install to each optical connector, supporting it to case forming wall by a striding and installing seat piece part, and also, allowing each optical connector to spring elastically by a striding and installing spring part. CONSTITUTION:A spring material 13 is installed from a spring installing window 15 of a connector case 12, a striding and installing spring part 13a is strid and installed to a part extended into the window 15 of an optical connector 11, and simultaneously, an inserting an holding port of a striding and installing seat piece part 13b is strid and installed to the same optical connector 11 part. Subsequently, a striding and installing, and inserting and holding piece 13e is supported by a case forming wall, for instance, the inside surface of the window 15 in which a connector containing part 14a is opened, and also, a striding and installing spring piece 13c is allowed to come into contact by pressure with a spring receiving seat 11c. The spring material 13 is placed in a compressed state between the spring receiving seat 11c and the case forming wall, and by its accumulated elastic force, the whole connector is sprung elastically to a ferrule 11b side through the spring receiving seat 11c. In such a way, an assembly work of the parallel connector 11 and the case 12 can be executed easily.
