The compsn., for treatment of allergic states, is made by (a) mixing disodium chromo-glycate (DSCG) with a liquefied propellant at -100 to +20 deg.C in absence of ambient moisture, to give 1-20 wt.% DSCG concn. and below 1% water; (b) micronising, milling or grinding to a mean particle size below 20 microns; and (c) drying by a combination of heat and vacuum to 0.05-3 wt.% water content. It may also contain a liquid or solid non-ionic surfactant.
