A liquid detergent compsn. comprises, in the ratio of compsn., 1-15% nonylphenylether, 5-25% sodium phosphate, 6-30% ethyleneglycol, 10- 46% triethanolamine, 5-25% ethyleneglycolmonobutyl ether and 5-25% polypropyleneglycol. The compsn. has a superior detergency against watersoluble or oilsoluble stains, fatty oils and machine oils, and has anticorrosiveness.
