PURPOSE:To always obtain a correct exposure quantity by allowing a stroboscope to emit a light beam, when the exposure quantity does not reach a first level at the time point when a prescribed time has elapsed after the start of an exposure, thereafter, stopping an energizing and also, closing a shutter, at the time point when it is decided that the exposure quantity reaches a second level. CONSTITUTION:As soon as a shutter 2 starts to open, and an exposure is executed to an image pickup element 5, the output E of an integrator 7 rises in proportion to its exposure quantity. When the output E does not reach a first level after a prescribed time from the start of the exposure, that is, when an output CB is in a low level, a control circuit 8 sends out a stroboscope light emitting signal to a stroboscope light emission control circuit 11. A stroboscope 10 emits a light beam and the exposure quantity increases suddenly, the output E of the integrator 7 also increases suddenly and the output E reaches the second level, and when the output CA of a comparator 9a becomes a high level, the stroboscope light emission control circuit 11 interrupts the energizing to a stroboscopic tube and stops the light emission, and simultaneously, the control circuit 8 sends out a shutter closing signal. In such a way, a correct exposure quantity is obtained. |
