[Also in Division A4] A water closet seat 10 is cleaned and disinfected by a pad or brush carried on a flexible member 17 by a bracket 18, the member 17 being driven by an electric motor via gearing 24. The member 17 is preferably a chain, but may be a nylon cord, and is guided by ball bearings or plastics rollers. The pad may be of foam rubber or plastics, and may be impregnated with a disinfectant and deodorizer. |
