Means and method for transportation and installation of large, heavy elements or structures on the sea bottom at relatively large sea depth, said means comprising one or more re-usable, ballastable high pressure resistant buoyant bodies (1), preferably made of concrete, said bodies devised for attachment to the structure or element with suitable attachment means 11, said buoyant bodies provided with a trimming- and ballasting part (3) for fine adjustment of the ballasting and trimming during the coupling procedure between the structure and the buoyant body for controlled monitoring of the structure clown to correct position on the sea bottom with or without reference to the sea surface during the operation.
