<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the saturation of a radar receiver, by estimating a just- under clutter receiving time using the altitude and dive angle of an airplane to apply STC (Sensitivity Time Control). CONSTITUTION:The transmitting wave from a transmitter 3 is emitted into the air through a duplexer 2. The transmitting wave going to the surface of the ground is reflected as clutter to be received by an antenna 1 and inputted to an STC circuit 7 through the duplexer 2. When the intensity of the transmitting wave going to the surface of the ground increases when the dive angle of an airplane becomes predetermined value or more and there is possibility such that clutter intensity saturates the receiving circuit 8, a right under clutter receiving time is estimated on the basis of the altitude of the airplane to generate a trigger and STC is operated. Whereupon, the saturation of a receiver 3 due to the clutter can be prevented even when no high speed AGC circuit is used.</p> |
