PURPOSE:To obtain stereoscopic video signals to which synchronized peak levels are constant even if video signals from an object generated by left-hand and right-hand cameras vary in the lightness by clamping the synchronized peak levels of said video signals at the same level, and outputting them alternately by every field by switching them. CONSTITUTION:Video signals generated by the right-hand camera 1R and the left-hand camera 1L are processed in corresponding peak value clamping circuits 8R, 8L, and the synchronizing peak levels are clamped at the same value. And the left-hand side and the right-hand side video signals thus clamped at the same level are outputted alternately through a switch 3 that acts in response to a field signal generation circuit 4. As a result, even if the lightness of an object to which image is picked up by both cameras are different from each other, excellent stereoscopic video signals to which synchronized peak levels are constant, can be obtained. |
