摘要 1312551 Automatic exchange systems SIEMENS AG 12 Jan 1971 [13 Jan 1970] 1336/71 Heading H4K In a crosspoint matrix selected bi-stable polarized crosspoint relays are set or reset by selecting and simultaneously energizing a row wire and one of a pair of set and reset wires individual to a column and to which the crosspoint relays are connected by diodes, and inhibit potentials are simultaneously connected to all non-selected row wires and to all set and reset wires of non-selected columns. The purpose of the inhibit potentials is to back bias the diodes at non-selected cross-points in a manner such that a faulty diode at a non-selected crosspoint can only have effect at that cross-point. The inhibit potentials produce across the matrix a potential difference which is larger in magnitude than and at non-selected crosspoints opposes any effect of selection potentials. The relay matrix shown is used in an exchange in which relays set for a connection are not reset on termination of that connection but are each left until the row or the column in which it is located is required for a further connection. To select a crosspoint, e.g. that of relay K12, marking contacts such as Z1 and 1s2 or 2s2 are operated to select a row wire such as ZZ1 and a column set or reset wire such as Se2 or Sr2. To set K12 four switching phases are required. In a first phase contacts 10 to 15 close. Contacts 13 and 14 apply +24 volts and earth respectively to the row wire and to each non-selected column reset wire resetting all relays other than K12 in the first row while contacts 10 to 12 and 15 apply inhibit potentials to prevent false operation at other non-selected, non-faulty crosspoints. In the next phase contacts 23 and 24 reset all relays in the second column other than K12 while potentials over contacts 20 to 22 and 25 perform the inhibit functions. In the third phase which may be omitted contacts 33 and 34 reset K12 while contacts 30 to 32 and 35 inhibit all other relays. In the last phase, contacts 43 and 44 set K12 while contacts 40 to 42 and 45 perform the inhibit function. The marking contacts may be replaced by electronic, e.g. transistor equivalents.
