PURPOSE:To eliminate defective separability of photographic paper after a developing process by providing an antistatic layer having specific surface electric resistance and coefft. of static friction on a rear coating layer of a paper base. CONSTITUTION:The front coating layer and rear coating layer consisting of polyolefin are formed on the paper base and the rear antistatic layer (A) is formed on the rear coating layer. An antistatic agent (B) and/or static friction control agent (C) and matrix forming resin (D) are incorporated into the layer A and the surface electric resistance after the developing process of the layer A is confined to <=1X10<13>OMEGA. The coefft. of static friction of the layer A with the photographic emulsion layer to be formed on the front coating layer is confined to <=0.55. Polystyrene sulfonic acid, etc., are preferable as the agent B, colloidal silica, etc., as the agent C and styrene/butadiene copolymer latex, etc., as the resin D. |
