<p>1342167 Ammoniacal alkyne solutions SNAM PROGETTI SpA 19 April 1971 [24 March 1970] 25080/71 Heading C5E [Also in Division C2] A solution of an alkyne in ammonia is prepared by contacting a gaseous mixture containing the alkyne with a ketone so as to obtain by absorption a solution of the alkyne in the ketone, and stripping the resulting ketonic solution with ammonia to give the desired ammoniacal solution of the alkyne. Preferably a gaseous mixture of acetylene and ethylene is treated with acetone and the resulting solution is stripped with ammonia in an evaporation column.</p> |
