The device described comprises a container divided by a separating system or similar into a chamber receiving the medium, and into a compressed gas chamber, whereby a mechanism can be set in motion at any moment to produce gas electrochemically which creates, in the compressed gas chamber, a pressure as a result of which the separating system expands or moves and thus discharges the medium. In order to simplify the structure of the device, facilate operation and enable easy modernization, at least one compact cell is provided consisting of an electrolyte, an anode and a cathode, and arranged in an insert with parts of an electric circuit which can connect the anode and cathode to one another. This cell is arranged so as to be movable in the insert and means are provided enabling, during fitting of the insert into the tank cover, the movement of the cell and closure of the circuit. |
