<p>A polyester film which is provided with a permanent, antistatic coating on one surface, which coating is obtained by treating the biaxially stretch-oriented and heat-set film with an aqueous dispersion, containing at least one copolyester containing sulfonate groups, and at least one salt derived from an amino acid or a protein hydrolysate.
