PURPOSE:To almost eliminate the generation of the fragments of a piece main body during operation, in operation pieces each of which is received along with the object to be treated in a treating container and performs the stirring and mixing treatment of said object to be treated, by covering the peripheral surface of the piece main body with a resin film. CONSTITUTION:Each of the operation piece 3 of an electromagnetic stirring and mixing apparatus which are received along with an object 2 to be treated in a treating container and performs the stirring and mixing treatment of the object 2 to be treated while generating random motion by electromagnetic force based on the mutual action with a moving magnetic field externally added by moving magnetic field generating apparatuses 4, 5 is constituted of a piece main body 31 made of a magnetic material or a non-magnetic conductive material and a resin film for covering the outer peripheral of the main body 31. Each of these operation pieces 3 is prepared by a method wherein a rod shaped body made of the magnetic material and the non-magnetic conductive material and having a long dimension is used as a core material 8 and, after the outer periphery thereof is coated with a resin film, the coated one is divided into small pieces each having a predetermined length dimension l. As a result, impact force is relieved even if pieces mutual collide against each other during operation and the fragment generation of the piece main body is prevented. |
