The application describes a device with two cardanic-mounted elements, one of which can be pivoted about a virtual horizontal transverse axis located above and the other of which can be pivoted about a corresponding longitudinal axis by means of rollers on rails and by means of a plurality of drive motors. Cylinder shell-shaped covers with narrow air gaps are provided for anti-contact protection. The device serves to receive a travel simulator cab with seat, control elements and VDU.
