PURPOSE:To make it possible to receive warmth efficiently with an electric space heater which uses a glass heater by reflecting the radiant heat radiated from an electric resistor by a heat ray reflecting film which is provided on a transparent plate of glass to concentrate the radiant heat to one direction. CONSTITUTION:The whole one face of a transparent heat resistant glass sheet 1 is provided with an electric resistor 2 which consists of a transparent tin oxide film. The whole one face of the transparent heat resistance glass sheet 3 is provided with a heat ray reflecting film 4 which consists of a metallizing multilayer film which light rays of wave length in the infrared range penetrate. The glass plate 1 and glass plate 3 are arranged in parallel with a constant distance between them and with the electric resistor 2 and heat ray reflecting film 4 facing each other. Further, the outer circumferences of the glass plate 1 and glass plate 3 are held by an external frame 5, and a leg 6 is fastened to the bottom of this frame. When the electric resistor 2 is energized, the radiant heat out of the radiated radiant heat that is emitted to the side of the heat ray reflecting film 4 is reflected by the film 4 and concentrated to one face on the side of the glass plate 1.
