The invention relates to a stand having a column (2) and an outrigger (3) which is pivotably connected to said column, has lever parts (5, 8, 11), which are guided in the manner of a parallelogram, and mass compensation by a spring (14). There is the problem with said stand that, owing to the spring characteristic, the mass compensation in the individual pivot positions of the outrigger is of different magnitudes. The object is to configure the stand such that the irregularity resulting from the spring characteristic is essentially compensated for. In order to compensate for the irregularity resulting from the spring characteristic, the two spindles (7, 9), which are connected to the column (2) and belong to the levers arranged in the manner of a parallelogram, are laterally offset with respect to one another, as seen in the vertical direction. It is consequently achieved that the projection onto the perpendicular with respect to the longitudinal direction of the levers constantly increases in magnitude from the upper pivot position as far as the lower pivot position, with the result that compensation with respect to the spring characteristic is achieved. The stand can be used for receiving loads and, in particular in medical engineering, for holding monitors or medical instruments in varying operating positions. <IMAGE> |
