A closing device for curtain compartments (2, 3), suspended below a glass roof, with fastened rear edges. The front edges of the compartments can be drawn by means of a leader (20) of a row of draw cords (12), arranged in parallel, along a fixed path for the tight engagement with the rear edge of a curtain compartment arranged ahead of it in the drawing direction. Rear-edge supports (25) which are tensioned at the rear lug of each curtain compartment (2) are suspended on a support cord (24), extending transversely to the draw cords, by means of a bar (30) which extends around the leader (20). Two draw parts (18, 19) are mounted firmly on the leader (20). The front draw part (18) is arranged in such a way that it can press the bar towards the rear, i.e. in the drawing direction, when the curtains are almost drawn. As a result, the rear-edge support tilts upwards against the front lug (34) of each curtain compartment (3), said lug now turning towards it, for mutual sealing of the two curtain compartments. When the curtain compartments are drawn away, the rear draw part (19) strikes against the bar (30) and thus tilts the rear-edge support forwards so that the folds (35) of the curtain compartments are pressed against the rear-edge support which is tilted forwards. As a result, it is ensured in a simple manner that the folds, seen in the longitudinal direction of the roof, take up the smallest possible space and thus cause the least degree of shade. <IMAGE> |
