This fiber 30 is constituted by cascading birefringence medium parts 31, 32 in which the respective quick axes are orthogonal to each other, a phase difference by a birefringence of a transmission light is compensated each other and the influence is negated each other. Accordingly, a multiple light polarization state is not varied, the influence of a polarized wave dispersion is not received, the Kerr substance is made long and large, and multiplexing and separation of light can be executed at a high speed and stably.
