PURPOSE:To prevent a image from becoming dirty and also, bringing the inside of a casing the high humidity, and to effectively utilize the titled device so that electric discharge is generated at a low voltage, by leading dewing water which has been dewed on the lower face of a top board of a heat fixing device into a casing of at least one of an electrostatic charger a and a transfer device through a communicating path from a gutter. CONSTITUTION:In a heat fixing device 17A, when fixation of a toner image to a form 7 is repeated, moisture in the form 7 evaporates and dewing is generated on the inside surface of a top board 18A. This dewing water D is led into a gutter 23 from a side wall 22, and thereafter, led into a casing of a transfer device through a communicating pipe. Accordingly, such a state that waterdrops D drop down onto the form 7 and an image is contaminated, or wrinkles generated on the form 7 are avoided. On the other hand, the inside of the casing of the transfer device becomes high humidity atmosphere due to the waterdrop which has been led in, therefore, a corona discharge is generated. Accordingly, a working current for the corona discharge can be reduced.
