<p>Sliding rails (3) are arranged on the two opposite longitudinal narrow sides of the guiding rail (1) of a rock-cutting chain saw. The sliding rails (3) are inserted between the side walls (18, 19) of the guiding rail. The link chain (2) is composed of sliding elements (6) and pairs of lateral guiding elements (7, 8) linked to each other by hinges (5). The sliding elements (6) lie with one of their sides on the sliding surface (15) of the sliding rail (3) and carry on the opposite side cutting plates (4). Coolant ducts (13) are centrally arranged in the sliding rail (3) and are llinked to a coolant supply arranged in the core of the guiding rail (1). Lateral guiding elements (7, 8) arranged on the lateral faces (11, 12) of the sliding rails (3) ensure the lateral guidance of the chain (2).</p> |
