PURPOSE:To produce a silver oxide cell with stable cell internal resistance and a large capacity by use of little silver layer by impregnating a gold colloid liquid into a silver layer mainly composed of AgO and formed by reducing the necessary surface of a positive electrode black mix mold containing CdO and drying it. CONSTITUTION:A mold of a positive electrode black mix 2 mainly composed of AgO and made of low-polymerization degree powder, such as CdO, Ag2O, C2F4, is formed and an acid-proof resin film 3 is provided on one surface, and the surface facing a negative electrode and the side surface are reduced to form a silver layer 2a. Next, after it is immersed in a gold colloid liquid, it is lifted and dried to form a silver layer 2a filled with gold particulates in porous silver. Then, this black mix 2 is inserted by pressure into a positive electrode case 1, and it is adequately combined with a separator 4, a liquid containing agent 5, an insulating gas getter 6, a gel-like negative electrode 7, and a metal sealing plate 8 to produce an AgO cell. |
