<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a hardware and a software by involving an intelligent type MODEM in a MODEM pooling system. CONSTITUTION:A data terminal equipment 2, a data extension 3 and a digital line circuit are successively connected to an exchange network 1, to which, at the same time, a central processing is connected. A MODEM trunk 6 and the intelligent type MODEM 7 are also connected to the exchange network 1, and a ringer 8 is connected to the MODEM trunk 6. Between the exchange network 1 and the MODEM trunk 6, a MODEM trunk side port 9 and a MO DEM trunk line port 10 are provided, and between the MODEM trunk 6 and the intelligent type MODEM 7, a MODEM RS 232 interface 11 and a MODEM line interface 12 are provided. Further, a register 13, a central office trunk 14 and a sender 15 are connected to the exchange network 1.</p> |
