PURPOSE:To equalize a pressure state against a heat roller, and also, to easily manufacture the titled device, and to reduce the cost by forming the middle part of a supporting lever to a shape protruded to the outside so that the center line of the supporting lever coincides with the center line of a bearing of both ends of a pressure roller. CONSTITUTION:A pressure roller 3 for pressing an image supporting body P against a heat roller 1 is constituted of an elastic member 21 formed along the outside peripheral surface of a metallic pipe 20 functioning as a mandrel, and a bearing 22 is inserted under pressure into the inside diameter part of both its ends. A supporting shaft 30 fitted into the inside diameter part of the bearing 22 is provided on the part protruded to the outside of a supporting lever 25, and the center line L1 of the supporting lever 25 coincides with the center line L2 of the bearing 22, therefore, the pressure state of the pressure roller 3 against the heat roller 1 becomes equal and fixing can be executed satisfactorily. Also, as for the bearing 22, a usual inexpensive bearing can be used, a flange welding work to both end parts of the pipe 20 becomes unnecessary, and the cost can be reduced. |
