PURPOSE:To keep excellent acoustic characteristic by calculating a correcting characteristic in response to the change in sound absorbing rate due to the change in the surrounding environment so as to set the correcting characteristic of each speaker automatically. CONSTITUTION:A measuring signal inputted from an input section 1 is retarded by delay devices 2a-2c, the frequency characteristic is corrected by correcting devices 3a-3c and reproduced from speakers 5a-5c. A reproducing signal entering a microphone 6 is analyzed by an acoustic characteristic measuring instrument 7, where the sound pressure frequency charactristic is obtained. A correction characteristic arithmetic means 8 calculates the correcting characteristic so that the characteristic at the microphone 6 is made flat or a desired characteristic based on the sound pressure frequency characteristic obtained in this way. A control means 9 sets the delay time obtained by the correction characteristic arithmetic means 8 or the correction value of the acoustic characteristic to the delay devices 2a-2c and the correcting devices 3a-3c. |
