A method for whipping up liquid substances is distinguished by the liquid substance first being foamed and then being whipped up by a mechanical treatment. In between the foaming and the subsequent whipping, a rest period may be allowed. A plurality of alternate successive foaming and rest phases may be provided, and during the foaming phase, in addition, a continuous or discontinuous mechanical treatment may take place. By virtue of this process, an increase in the whip-up volume is achieved. |
