Nuclear weapon survival shelter using concrete shell - having casing of prefabricated steel plates with continuous repeating profile and flat in transverse direction

The shelter provides protection against the e.m. impulse from the explosion of a nuclear weapon. An enclosed casing is anchored to a concrete sheel. The casing is formed of steel plates several millimetres thick and welded together act as a faraday cage. The casing consists of shaped steel plates, having in cross-section a continuous repeating profile several millimetres high, and flat in the transverse direction.
