PURPOSE:To increase airflow and cooling effect of a bearing by arranging a centrifugal fan on the inside of a bracket. CONSTITUTION:A centrifugal fan 15 having a large outer diameter is arranged on the inside of a bracket 13 supporting a rotating shaft 12 via bearing 1. An inlet port 13a for drawing in cooling air is provided on the upper half side of the bracket 13 and an outlet port 13b, in a position of larger diameter than that of the inlet port 13a on the lower half side thereof. Between the inlet port 13a and the outlet port 13b, an annular air guide 19 is fitted to engage with the outer periphery of an annular side plate 15a to form an inlet path 17 and an outlet path 18, which is demarcated from the internal chamber of a rotating machine by a main plate 15b of the fan 15 and a partition plate 20a of a cylindrical frame 20. A lower part of a bearing box 4 is provided with an oil tank 4a for storing lubricating oil for the bearing 1 and an air guide 16 for blowing a cooling air from the outlet port 13b upon said oil tank 4a is fitted on the lower half outer side face of the bracket 13 to encase the oil tank 4a.
