Apparatus for assembling cooling-element parts, in which the perforated cooling plates are cut off from the strip with a cutting-off device intended therefor and are drawn onto cooling pipes by means of drawing-on combs circulating on a chain, the upper ends of the cooling-element pipes being fitted with sword-like tips before the cooling-element plate is drawn on, for guidance of the latter, and the position of the cooling pipes being fixed by a stabilising comb, characterised in that stabilising combs (2) which are fitted with a spring (4) and a restoring mechanism (5) and are actuated by the drawing-on combs (1) are arranged tiltably on both sides of the cooling element to be produced and are held by the spring (4) in engagement with the outer cooling-pipe row (9) of the cooling element, and the restoring mechanism (5) is arranged in such a way that a pivotable arm (6) connected to the stabilising comb (2) via a lever (7) reaches into the conveying path of the drawing-on combs (1) in the tilted-down position of the stabilising comb (2). <IMAGE>
