PURPOSE:To manufacture fine-particle high-density ferrite by sintering the ferrite material under the temperature resulting in density of 90% or more and average particle size of 15 mum or less and pressing the sinter with hot static waster pressure at a temperature lower than the sintering temperature and enough to allow no particle growth. CONSTITUTION:A first sintering is carried out at the specified sintering temperature T1 (1050 deg.C<=T1<=1250 deg.C), and particle growth of crystal particle is suppressed at 15 mum or less; thereby, a sinter of ferrite with density of 90% or more can be obtained. Next, density of sinter of ferrite is set to 99% or more and average particle size is set to 15 mum or less through the pressing with hot static water pressure at the temperature T2 (where, 1000 deg.C<=T2<=1200 deg.C, T2<=T1-50 deg.C) which is lower than the temperature T1 and does not substantially allow the particle growth. Thereby, fine-particle high-density ferrite can be manufactured.
