PURPOSE:To display the total amount of money in the way of registration together with the departmentalized amount of money without providing a display part additionally by displaying both the departmentalized amount of money and the total dealt amount of money on a display part on time-division basis. CONSTITUTION:When it is confirmed that the departmentalized amount money is registered before a department key is pressed, the departmentalized amount of money is displayed on a display device and a timer 6 is started. Then, the new departmentalized amount of money is totalized in the total amount area of an RAM3 and displayed on the display device 5 to wait for the next key input. The switching between the departmentalized amount of money and the total amount of money is performed on the display device 5 in the key-input waiting state. When the timer 6 enters a time-up state, the display on the display device 5 is switched to the total amount of money. Then when a total key is pressed, the total amount is displayed on the display device 5. |
