System for use in controlling the vacuum supplied to at least two different devices by a common source while giving priority to one of the devices over the other, comprises(i) a first means utilising vacuum at a first level; (ii) a second means utilising vacuum at a second level; (iii) vacuum means for supplying vacuum to (i) and (ii) and including a common supply line coupled to a first vacuum line supplying vacuum to (i) and coupled to a second vacuum line supplying vacuum to (ii); (iv) a control valve disposed in the first vacuum line and capable for regulating the amt. of vacuum provided to (i).
