PURPOSE:To obtain a detection pulse with less jitter and high accuracy from a burst wave including a DC component by using an adder and a delay line having a length (t=n.tau/2) being an odd number of multiple of one period of a burst wave, retarding the original burst wave by n.tau2 through the delay line and adding the inverted burst wave to the result. CONSTITUTION:A signal including a burst inputted from an input terminal 7 is inputted to a delay line 11 having a length being an odd number of multiple of the length of a half of one period of the burst wave via a low pass filter 10 having the frequency of the burst wave within its pass hand separated by a timing circuit 8 and a burst gate circuit 9. Moreover, the output of the delay line 11 is inverted by an inverse amplifier 12 and added to the burst wave at the input side by an adder 13. Thus, the DC component DELTAV of the input waveform is inverted into -DELTAV, and the components DELTAV and -DELTAV are cancelled in the adder 13 into a waveform (c) to obtain the burst without any DC component.
