PURPOSE:To facilitate the discrimination of close correction positions by clearing character strings other than a designated character string with spaces in an update ID entry column of a source light outputted by a compiler. CONSTITUTION:A source file 1 is inputted to a compiler 2, and the compiler 2 compilers a source program to an object program and outputs a compile list file 3. Character strings other than character strings in an update ID entry zone designated by a parameter card given at the time of system input are cleared in terms of space, and they are outputted as a compile list 5. Since only the latest update ID of program correction and remodeling is left, close correction positions are easily discriminated and the efficiency of program check and trouble analysis is improved.
