PURPOSE:To produce the titled decorative material having recesses corresponding to the pattern, by printing a desired pattern on a substrate, then coating a transparent paint on the whole surface, printing ink mixed with a liq. repellent only on the desired part, and forming the recesses only on the part by recoating. CONSTITUTION:A desired pattern is printed on the substrate, a transparent paint or a colored transparent paint is coated on the whole surface, the ink mixed with a liq. repellent (e.g., wax oil) is coated only on the desired part, and the recesses are formed only on the part by recoating. As a result, a decorative material having recesses corresponding to the pattern can be easily produced.
