PURPOSE:To output a sentence wide in various application ranges by inputting the concept of the sentence desired to represent and the style information of the sentence and forming the sentence to be outputted by a retrieval and a work from a data base. CONSTITUTION:For instance, when the sentence of 'How much is a budget' is outputted, as an input, 'the concept is how much (a subject of budget) about', 'an attribute is brought into the form of an interrogative type' and supplied to a retrieving part 1. A PC pair retrieving part 8 retrieves the PC pair having such a pattern as '<*X> is <about...>' to the corresponding to the concept from the PC pair data base (DB)5. A deformation operating rule retrieving part 9 retrieves the deformation operating rule having a rule such as '<verb or>' corresponding to an input attribute from a deformation rule DB6. A connecting part 2 is applied to said PC pair and the rule, a formation element forming part 4 finally retrieves a word dictionary 7 to output a desired 'how much is the budget about'.
