PURPOSE:To facilitate the expansion of the scale of exchange due to increase in the subscriber terminal equipment or quickened high speed bus by reading data consecutively in the unit of calls to a time slot selected on the high speed bus so as to facilitate the exchange control. CONSTITUTION:The high speed bus 3 is provided among transmission buffer memories 1-1-1-n and reception buffer memories 2-1-2-n and applies time division. The memories 1-1-1-n store the data of the optional data transfer speed slower than the data transfer speed on the bus 3 consecutively for each call. Moreover, a control section 4 reads the data consecutively till the call transfer is finished from the transmission buffer memory storing the data onto the bus 3 during the count of the time slot number corresponding to one call and writes the data in the reception buffer memory at the incoming side in the unit of call. Then the data is read at an optional slower speed than the data transfer speed on the high speed bus. Thus, the exchange control is facilitated and the scale of the exchange is expanded easily.
