PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce power consumption for conversion to an optical signal, by arranging a timer in a sensor circuit, setting all of the sensors at detecting states at every prescribed time interval, and transmitting the optical signal after forming the optical signal representing the detecting state in a short optical pulse via an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:The output (a) of the timer 7 is outputted at every prescribed time interval T1 for a short time, and the detecting state is generated by bringing a part of two conductors of a sensor part into contact with each other by the output. A pulse generator 2 is oscillated by the output, and a light emitting element 3 generates the optical signal (b) of optical pulse string with a pulse cycle of T2. Thus, since the optical signal is sent only in diagnosing by the sensor or at the time of generating abnormality, and simultaneously, the sending of the optical signal is performed at every prescribed time interval T1 as the optical pulse string with time width of T2 by the pulse generators 2 and 8, it is possible to remarkably reduce power required for light emission. |
