PURPOSE:To increase the strength of the tip opening and to carry out positioning with high precision, by providing a small-bore parallel part of minute length at the tip opening. CONSTITUTION:The glass nozzle 1 has a large-bore parallel part 1b, a taper part 1c, and the small-bore parallel part 1d of minute length. The strength of the tip opening is increased by the small-bore parallel part 1d, and the tip opening can be positioned with high precision by measuring the position of the outer peripheral surface of the small-bore parallel part 1d when the glass nozzle 1 is incorporated into the printing head of an ink-jet printer. By this method, the injection position of ink is not varied, and the quality of printing is improved. |
